Refurbishing Service

This is for the refurbishing only, so you will have to send your rocker cover in for this service.

Kseries/Bseries/Fseries
(Currently only Kseries are being accepted till further notice)

(Separate listing for Fseries spark plug cover)

All covers are;

+ Stripped of seals
+ Acid dipped
+ Inspected
+ Cover gets bolted down to a custom jig where the baffle plate rivets are removed, fixing points are drilled and threaded
+ OEM baffle plate is removed, cleaned and zinc plated
+ Defects and poor casting marks on the cover are removed
+ Cover is fully media blasted
+ Cover is then mounted to a custom jig to stop unwanted powder coat inside of the cover plus the breather port, fixing holes, dipstick hole and oil cap hole blanked.
+ Removal of jig and inspected again after the powder coat process
+ Face surfaces are refinished
+ Baffle plate area gets resealed (like factory) and baffle plate gets refitted along with SS fixings which are loctite in place (like NSX Rocker covers)
+Full Gasket kit is supplied and fitted (Made in Japan), this includes main Cover seal, spark plug seals, fixing rubbers top hats and washers, doesn't include fixings)

Please note the Lettering on the rocker cover needs to be in its original condition to get the best possible finish, we can only work with what material is there, if the lettering is in poor condition it would be advised to have the lettering removed.
