Honda Front Spindle/Hub Shortening

Running your Honda (EG,EK,DC2 etc) with a very low ride height and your upper control arms are fouling on your strut towers?

This Service is to remove a section of material (1-2") of the spindle upright which in turn gives you the same amount of extra clearance before it makes contact.

The correct procedure is used with modifying/welding cast iron and the steps these go through are listed below

+ (Optional) Sand Blasted to remove as much corrosion as possible
+ Measurements are taken of current angles for when there welded back together + Area of the chosen amount of material is cleaned, measured and scribed
+ Material is removed, V cut, re measured and tacked into place
+ Pre heat the joint
+ Hot pass to ensure full penetration with the Tig Welder
+ Fully weld the V joint with Nickel filler rod and weave welded to ensure full fusion of both parts
+ Slow cooled
+ (Optional) Greased/masked and powder coated

These can be left as they are, media refinished if you wanted the paint/rust removed so you can paint them yourself or finished in powder coat to give them a factory finished appearance.

With regards to any suspension part that is being modified, they are for non road use only.
